You Learn Something New Everyday

She smiled as the sun hit her face. Looking around she was amazed that this could still be considered part of the city. It looked like the furthest thing from it. They started walking through an expansive garden full of flowers, and she blushed a little when he presented her with a small bouquet. She picked one of the flowers out of the bouquet, tucking it behind her ear and in her hair. They ended up walking to a small barn towards the back of the garden. It was dimmer inside and as her eyes adjusted he made a sound with his tongue and four horses popped their heads out of their stalls. They were beautiful. He asked if she wanted to go for a ride, and she said voice full of wonder, "I don't know how." He smiled at her, taking her hand and leading her to the stall.
