I Love Epiphanies

As they walked back up the path they had come down, Penny couldn't remember ever feeling happier. The run had been exhilarating and the feeling of Jasper's lips on her neck had just intensified it. She leaned back against him and they spent the walk back to the barn sharing soft kisses and gentle caresses. She had realized something. She had always known it, but it had never been clear in her mind before. She trusted him. Of all the things she was experiencing at that moment, this realization of trust was the best. Well either that or Jasper's lips on hers. They were back at the barn too soon. She sighed when she saw it, leaning her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes, relishing the moment that was about to end.
