Jasper looked at her balefully. He knew she didn't sleep a lot but he should be able to stay up with her. Yet, even as he thought that, he found himself drifting to sleep again. He jerked awake and tuned the light on. Reaching for the book they had been reading, he mumbled something about she should read it while he took a little nap. She scrambled off the bed to her bag, where she pulled out a dictionary and came back, smiling a little. The rougher covers felt so good on his bare upper body and he yawned and stretched. He rolled to his side and absently reached out for her hand, falling asleep once more in the process.
