Like A Cold Drink Of Water

They got back to the barn and he helped her down first, laughing as she felt the muscles on her legs she normally never used up until this point. She had the last laugh though when he dismounted and did the same waddle, first because it hurt, and then intentionally to make her smile. He left the horse with John after asking it okay of the older man and walked her back through the garden, splashing her with the water from the fountain. She jumped a little, not expecting it, then grinned and splashed him back. It was cold, but it felt good. They had a mini splash battle until they were both fairly wet and chilled from finally cooling down after the ride. "You hungry at all?" He asked. It had, after all, been some good exercise.
