The house was large and grand. She saw rooms that housed art and rooms that housed people and rooms that didn't even seem to serve functions other than to be rooms and add space to the already massive house. She was allowed to peak into almost every room, although the one they purposely bypassed held curiosity for her, but she allowed herself to be lead away.
When they finally made it back to the room, he plopped down on the bed telling her of their plans for tomorrow, then suddenly sat up, very self consciously. He dragged the chair over and she realized that he was expecting her to take the bed. Before he could sit, she slid into the chair. "I don't want to take your bed," she said. "I can sleep here just as comfortably." She reached over and pulled her bag off the bed trying to emphasis her point. She set it beside the chair and waited for his response.
