Down The Rabbit Hole
At his light touch she knew he wasn't going to change his mind. He lead her to the car, and she let go of his hand in order to get in. She slid as far back and away from the door as possible. Painfully aware of how clean and pristine everything was she put her bag on her lap and sandwiched it between her chest and her knees. Her arms went around her knees and her head rested on them. Her goal was to touch as little of the car as possible. He got in beside her and closed the door.
