A Modest Proposal

"Ohhh no you don't. My condition to sleeping in the chair is if and only if you sleep in the bed. I have slept in much worse conditions than this, and I can sacrifice a few night's sleep for your comfort. I'm just as stubborn as you are and I think after all this time of sleeping in the cramped and uncomfortable, that bed is looking a mite inviting. I'm taking a stand on this issue, my flower. That right there is your bed. You will sleep in it...unless." He leaned back with a wicked grin. "We could sleep in it together."
